Neon green sweater: H&M
High waisted shorts: DIY & Thrifted

This is a quick post from this weekend. I felt like being sporty this weekend on my way to Miami this weekend so I brought out my tomboyish side! Sometimes a girl just wants to wear sweats and sneakers. =P
Sweatsuit - Custom made by yours truly. You can go to an athletic store to get this look, too!

As many of you know, Gel Nails aka “Shellac” are super popular and in almost every salon you go to. For those who are regulars with getting their hands and feet done, you know that it can get pretty expensive. Sometimes I would spend close to $100 if I wanted a Mani/Pedi and Gel for both! I came across this Sensationail Gel Starter Kit a month ago at Walgreens for $40 on Sale and I decided I should give it a try.
I watched a few YouTube reviews and tutorials and it seemed pretty easy… It definitely was!! I love giving myself at-home mani/pedis and this just takes it to another level! I’ve had the ‘Pink Chiffon’ polish on my toes for two weeks now and it still looks NEW! The kit ranges from $40-70 depending on where you purchase it; I’ve seen this kit and different colors at Walmart, Target and online. AND each nail polish contains 10 applications! They also have removal kits, too. I recommend this 100%!
I wanted to share some of my favorites each month because I do get a few questions in my e-mail. My Haul will include SHOES and Beauty products!
My first favorites are from Whipped Body Goods. (pic above) I think they will always be in my favorites. I have never used products that is so effective, inexpensive, Vegan & Organic, and have something to use for my hair-to-toe! The pic below is some of their products and more than half of them weren’t even for me, LOL! My previous post gives more information on them and what they do but just know they’re “DA BOMB”!
My second favorites were similar Valentino. I didn’t even know they were until I was browsing Instagram. They are these adorable Bow Jelly Flip Flops! So far I have them in white and black and will be buying more colors soon! Let me just say I don’t really like wearing flip flops out unless I’m going to the beach or just lounging. But, I LOVE these for a casual and cute day. The price tag of the Valentino are reaching $300 and I found both of mine on eBay for $32 total! I have heard people say you can find them at Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, or a Department store.
Last but now least of my August haul and favorites are two pairs from LolaShoetique which is a new site for me! I love their heels and the price. I purchased both pair for around $35 each and they are gorgeous. The black heel remind me of Gucci’s Provacateur and the red heels a mix between Gucci and Giuseppe.
(products from left to right/front to back: nighttime eye cream, monoi oil, facial creme, pina colada bikini line butter, bahama mama black soap, cocoa mama butter, oil cleanser and hair oil)
I had been searching high and low for great quality in skin/hair care products that were also affordable and easily accessible. It was around the end of 2012/beginning of 2013 I came across Whipped products on Twitter. I did more research on their twitter page and the website and just had to get my hands on a few of their products. They aren’t just affordable but all natural, organic, and vegan, too.
Not only was I looking for skin/hair care products for myself but also for my sister and close family and friends. My first purchase was the Cocoa Mama Butter and the Bikini Line Butter. The very next day, I saw a difference in my skin and hair (I honestly can’t make this up) and it’s been prospering every since. Now I am on a mission to get my entire family and all of my friends on these products.
I have received quite a few questions and if you are new to Whipped Body Goods, there are a few products I would recommend if you are not sure what to get started with.
and the Monoi Oil.
There are still many more products I want to try. I have heard from family members that the beard butter is awesome and the healing cream great for eczema. And of course they always look out for their customers.. They are always doing some type of promotion. Follow them on Twitter and Instagram @WhippedBodyGoods for the latest updates!!
It’s been some time since I’ve done an outfit post but I have received a lot of compliments and questions about where my shirt is from. I will definitely try to do a lot more from now on. The details for my outfit from this past weekend are listed below:
Top: The Beyoncé t-shirt is from her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour that I went to in Miami on 7/10/13 with my sister and best friend. (pics and videos here). It was around $40. She has a few of them on her website but mine and my sister’s shirts were exclusively available at her concert.
Bottoms: Harem Pants from Forever 21 (old)
Shoes: TImbaland Boots c/o my boo.
I hope this helps!!!! :)
Finaaalllyyyy…Here are some clips of some of my favorite sets from when I went to the Beyonce concert in Miami on 7/10/13! She delivers and serves and I can’t wait to see her again! And below are some pics! She’s even more beautiful in real life! ENJOY!!!! (For the pics/videos, I used my Canon)
Talk about a sexy heel… London Trash is re-releasing one of their most popular styles, the Siobhan heel. You can pre-order now and they will be available by the end of March. That’s too long to wait for me! I need these bad boys now! Check out LilaShoes.com or their Instagram, @lilashoes for more information!
I’m honestly more excited about her halftime performance than I am about the actual game. And you know what? I don’t even care. LOL
Can not wait for Sunday, February 3rd, 2013!
